Welcome
visitors and fellow travelers:
One
of the most consistently transformational processes Ive
discovered in my personal life is translating inspiring ideas
into practical ways of being in the world.
- In
this weekly feature, Id like to share with you some
of the approaches that have made a difference in my life.
I hope that youll explore these practices and see
how they work for you. There are no particular outcomes
you have to achieve.
- My
purpose in sharing these ideas and suggestions with you
is to offer some ways to experiment with increasing awareness
and mastery in your life. Daily exercises I have experienced
myself, and in my clinical practice.
- Each
week, Ill be posting a thought or exercise to
take into your week as an experiment in action.
- A
ground rule Id like to ask you to consider is two-fold:
first, engage the process of these experiments in action
with curiosity with an open mind and a willingness
to discover things you didnt know already; and, second,
bring along as your constant companion a basic stance of
self-acceptance and non-judgment.
There
are no right answers to these explorations.
Theres
only an invitation to discovery and increased self-awareness,
a recognition of what is.
